| Artist, Todd Radizminski prefers borosilicate; commonly known as “Pyrex®” Glass for creating his hand crafted art pieces. He utilizes the lamp working technique which received its name from the 14th century while glass was melted by the use of an oil lamp. As the technology increased and so did the temperature of the fire…Todd currently works at about 4500 degrees to create his unique glass art pieces. |

| Artist Bio Todd Radizimski has been fascinated with glass since childhood. He remembers trying to figure out how marbles were made; spending more time gazing into the glass orbs than playing with them. When meeting Todd, it is not difficult to see that boy reflected in his eyes, dreaming of what his next creation will be. His career started in domestic glass and evolved intuitively to art glass. His passion to create artistic glass sculpture using the lamp-working technique has captured him. Although he is largely self taught, his excellence created the opportunity to be the resident artist at the University of Miami, Hot Glass Department for several years, beginning in 2000. |
